The code opens Google Maps. On iPhone it opens in the Google Maps app if installed, otherwise in the browser.
Address or coordinates?
An address or business name is easiest to read. For a gate, a parking spot or a trailhead, coordinates are more exact.
Is my location sent to you?
No. “Use my location” asks your browser, and the coordinates go only into the code on your screen.
